The full moon & the female body
Moon phases and the connection with our cycle
So what is the connection between menstruation and the moon? Even if this has not been scientifically clarified, it is not surprising that the moon, which is responsible for ebb and flow, also has an influence on the human body, which consists of around 70% water. But how are the individual phases of the moon now assigned to the cycle phases? We'll explain and give you a few tips for the different cycles.
1st new moon for menstruation
At new moon, the moon is not visible in the night sky. Plan conscious time for yourself and allow yourself to rest. If you allow yourself breaks, you will have more energy again later and all activities will be easier for you.
2. waxing moon for the follicular phase
During this time, your energy increases again. You are full of energy, self-confident and complete. Accordingly, you can now become more active again and pursue sporting activities. It is a good time to implement plans or make important decisions as your mind is more alert and clear.
3rd full moon for ovulation
Similar to the moon in the night sky, the woman also becomes fully visible now. Ovulation (the peak of the cycle) symbolises a woman's prime. During this time, women often have a particularly self-confident aura. Now you can make particularly important appointments, fully empathise with your femininity, be present, energetic and active.
4. waning moon for the luteal phase
Just like the moon, the woman's energy is slowly decreasing again. As far as possible, you can now plan more and more rest periods and time for yourself. You can also focus more on yoga or low impact workouts in your sporting activities.
